Black Tears is a blend of Cuban rum and spices. It’s based on a silver dry rum from one of the best Cuban distilleries and is the first dry spiced cuban rum on the market. Setting itself apart from other spiced rums, this has a bittersweet taste and a low sugar content (typical for Cuban rums). The spices used are coffee and cacao, and aji dulce (a sweet pepper, used heavily in local cuisine).  This is a rum which has a cool, golden intensity – which is both bright and clear. The flavour has a gentle sweetness from cocoa, which is accompanied with a punch from coffee on the finish. There is also an intruiging peppery spice, which lingers deliciously.  This is an elegant, and overall, very well-balanced dry spiced rum.
